SUBTLENESS :

This is one of the 8 Perfections. To be subtle. What is subtleness anyway? Something so fine that it cannot be perceived except by the most discerning. Like how The Creator could appear within creation and could remain hidden to the perceptions of those within creation. Deep meaning hidden beneath the perceivable exterior. Subtleness has to do with perception and perception’s ability to perceive. What can each set of measuring instruments measure? There is all available data about a thing, what does perception notice? What is a thing in it’s essence? The subtle aspects of things. Exacting Dimensions. The exact differences and similarities of things and perception's ability to detect these features. How every little change is taken into consideration when observing the whole. What something is going to inspire. Exactly what happens when "mind meets phenomenon", both to phenomenon and to the mind? Exactly what a person is feeling on the inside, and how phenomenon is going to effect that state. How the movements of one’s essential self move all the grosser elements of one’s being. Mind moving matter. Intelligence moving mind. Sense of bodily existence moving intelligence. Soul moving one’s sense of being one’s body. And the Soul’s eternal duty moving the soul. And then, that which establishes the Soul’s Eternal Duty, moves and vitalizes that duty. Subtleness is existing in one’s finest most rarefied state. So slight as to be difficult to detect or analyze. Not immediately obvious. Elusive. Able to make fine distinctions. Cleverness, skill, crafty. Operating in a hidden way. The true magnitude and dimension could not be comprehended. An idea in a mind, hidden until acted upon.

RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ELEMENTS :

Here is another perfection. Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether, Mind, Intelligence, and The Sense of One’s Body Is Oneself, Soul, and The Soul’s Constitutional Position. These are the traditional elements. Everything is composed of various substances. To have relationship with the fundamental building blocks of existence. Knowledge and familiarity with the elements allows one to begin the process of “Alchemy”. To be able to call upon the elements by name, to be able to freely access their powers. In modern times “the elements” means “The Entire Periodic Table”. We now have discovered what things are composed of on smaller and smaller levels. To have relationship with the fundamental components of things. The Druids called what they did “building authority with the elements”. They developed a living relationship with the Lords of the Elemental Worlds by learning their songs. The Elemental Lords would appear after being summoned and supplicated, and they would teach their Druidic summoner songs relating to the Element in question. And so the Druid or Bard could “call upon the Elements” through song and manifest the elemental qualities. To be the friend and master of the Elements. Knowledge of the composition of things on a fundamental level. Purify the elements. Return them to their unmixed state. Humans are mixtures of so many qualities, some gross and others more subtle. What is the essence? After the material elements are remixed into the Earth, what of a person remains? Is there an element called “The Real Self”? Or is a person but a temporary conglomerate of circumstances which dissolves as the circumstances keeping one together change? What of a person remains? What experiences eternal life?

LIGHTNESS :

To attain “Lightness”. To become unburdened of heaviness. To be free from burden. To be able to fly or levitate. To be fleet of foot, dexterous, or immune to the harm caused by falling. Nothing can bring one down. Freedom to move in any direction. To be light rather than heavy. Or to be light rather than dark? Nothing unwanted can attach itself to you. Free. Unrestricted movement. Nothing overly heavy effecting one. Physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual lightness. The ability to ever escalate. Nothing can hamper. There is little to no drag. Boundless. Happiness. Joy. Elation. Ecstatic Communion with everything that be. Light as in “illuminated”? To be as light as light (186,000 miles a second) or even lighter, to be as light as a thought in The Most High Mind. Traveling at the speed of Divine Thought. WOW! Thou art a concept in The Most High’s consciousness. The mind behind the existence of cognition. Weightless or almost. To be lighter than the lightest. To be in control of one’s density. One could range all the way to the highest heights. One could explore every peak and could walk any plateau. One could seek The Most High literally. Lightness. The Spirit would be free to soar, one would be free to move, one could range anywhere one wished to range, instantly. One could move like a flash. One would be illuminated in mind. One’s concepts would not weigh one down nor would they be burdensome. One would not have unneeded seriousness. One could be free, expression would also be unhampered, for everything one would be doing would be correct. Freedom of movement. One would be more light in everything that one would do. Free from birth, disease, old age, and death, time, karma, and fruitive activities. One would not need to perform austerity to attain perfection.

ATTAINMENT :

Being able to get anything imaginable. This is a tremendous power to utilize in Divine Devotional Service : to be able to manifest everything needed to serve! WOW! Combined with knowledge and wisdom this power could be used to amazing positive effect in the world as we know it. Knowledge of a cure and it’s application would be simultaneous. A healthy mind with this power would be able to do endless good. Answers to questions would be instantly provided. One must use what is manifested in Divine Devotional Service. In Vaikuntha that is the natural state. The information required for us to conduct ourselves in Devotional Service properly, this is important for us to manifest. Every wave is favorable, every moment is another opportunity to serve. All things can be viewed from this perspective : “How can this be utilized in the service of The Divine?” Attainment. If we are wise we will only attract things which are good for us. “As you wish!”, “Your wish is My command!”

Everything and anything is within your grasp. It is said that 6th dimensional beings can create of thought alone. There is no delay between the onset of a desire and its actualization. WOW! What a power! One would need to be in a highly purified state of consciousness, with limitless discipline in being in control of one’s thoughts. What one imagines becomes! One could attain anything one wished. What set of circumstances generate a being having a desire? What a being desires determines who a person is experienced as. The conglomerate of sense impressions interacting with the substance of an individual’s consciousness and current level of need. What is a person attracted by? What is a person repulsed by? What will this set of circumstances awaken the need to attain?

ETERNAL JOY :

To never experience sorrow. What a contrast that would be from the material universe and its experience. It really is “all good”. It has always been all good and there is nothing heinous in wait at any time. Always being grateful for existence. Joy is in wait. Infinite permutations of joy. No fear of death or pain. No illness. Reflection upon infinite vistas of things satisfying. Everything one encounters is fearless. No sorrow. Joy. Elation. Fulfillment. Articulate the dimensions of joy. Accomplishment. Having performed right action. The reward of having done right. Always doing right and experiencing the effects of right action. Only The Most High could create the circumstances of Joy leading to Joy for eternity. Both “eternity” and “joy without opposite”, are somewhat foreign to materially conditioned minds. Most know the saying “There is no pleasure without pain”, but imagine pleasure upon pleasure forever! Wow! Beyond comprehension. It sounds great though. Just pure everlasting satisfaction. Drink your fill of the nectar! Endlessly diverse forms of joy mingling. One has become a composite of various samplings of joy coexisting as the various aspects of one’s vibration. Being multifarious joy. The eternal alchemy of existence in an elated state. Joy which never gets old, never fades away, never runs out. Joy upon joy! Elation upon elation. An eternal thrill. Joy as a natural condition. The infinite multiple faces, facets and dimensions of joy. Nothing to bring one down, nothing depressing, no more sorrow. Never thirst. No more unwanted experiences arising from one’s own body and mind, no more sufferings caused by the environment, or other living beings. Joy. Eternal everlasting fully pure and untainted one savors from beginning into forever. JAI!

COMMAND :

To be able to bring things under one’s influence. Reality is at one’s behest. Command requires purity of heart and intention. In order for things to obey one, one must be in consciousness of The Most High intention. Things wish to be utilized for the highest good. No other plan for things is worthy or satisfying. Things obey thine order and decree. Self-Control, to command thyself. One’s will is impetus and demands to be realized. One’s order has become life and following one’s instructions is the only path to self realization, for those who must follow them. ISHVARA : “Controller”.

All perfection awaits your word my Lords and Ladies! Right action then would be crucial with this power. Knowing the true purposes of things. Nothing can make one act, one makes all things act. One is certain of one’s duty. One is certain of one’s purpose and why one acts. One has no boundaries upon one’s will. There is nothing that one cannot accomplish. The Most High truly has command over all things and all other subordinate commanders . One gets the order from the Supreme Divine Source and then one follows that order as the source of one’s very life. All others must also serve that order if one’s service involves others, because one is on a mission from Divinity ruler of all beings, and all must assist and not hamper that cause. So all beings in service to The Most High also have the power to command, in order to perform their service, and none dare disobey. “Self-Command” would be a most valuable power. All of one’s facilities respond to one’s call. All that one has been entrusted with is fully under one’s control. One’s powers obey one’s command. The one who can control others is strong, but the one with absolute self-control knows true power. One is never frustrated by one’s own lack of control.

DETACHMENT :

The perfection of Detachment. One of the 6 oppulences of Bhagavan is “renunciation”. To be perfectly unattached. Wow! One gets everything one wishes and is also free from over attachment at the same time! Buddha says, “Attachment to desire is the cause of all suffering,” and thus this perfection would help one to remain peaceful for eternity. Wow! Life in Vaikuntha sounds great. Equiposition between all extremes, letting go, no attachment to the causes of suffering. Its amazing the feelings I am having as I am sitting here contemplating “Detachment”. No more clinging. All that can be relinquished has been relinquished. Accepting only the needful. This all represents “freedom”. The experience of actual freedom. No more immorality dragging one down. No more unwanted reactions to our incorrect deeds. No more cart of sorrow following the ox of illicit deed. There is hardly a force more ferocious than attachment. The clinging of the mind. Become free. Unburdened. Soar and let there be no end to Thy soaring. Be where you are most satisfied to be. Be unattached to the cause of pain. Unattachment. This power would free one from the ferocious nature of the mind. Equiposition. One is no longer in bondage to anything. Fully free one can have anything and can give up anything without effort. Wow! Being able to give up the unfavorable and degrading things of this world would be a supreme power. All these powers can find their application in Devotional Service. Being able to manifest and sacrifice things in Devotion. Unattachment can lead to peace and can help us perfect our material lives. Freedom from all false sense of possessiveness. Freedom from all clinging.

SUPREME FULFILLMENT :

There is nothing more to be gotten. One is utterly fulfilled. One cannot even think of anything else one would want. One is fully full. In the Supreme. One has all, can manifest or let go of anything. There is nothing amiss, nor shall there ever be. No sorrow, anxiety, drawbacks, doubts, pains, or anything to distract. All is all good, in every way. To be utterly and completely realized. There is nothing left to gain. No mind is being paid to what one does not have, because on every level, one has all one hankers for. Wow! No more seeking, striving, struggling. Total actualization on every level. Total. Full. Complete. Satisfied. To be and to be ecstatic. No needs. No questing. At ease, or in activity that one finds satisfying. One does one’s service and one’s system of being is perfect. One could not be happier. one’s way of being is satisfying. This is one form which one’s perfection takes. Wow! Can you imagine being fully full, with no more striving for anything? One no longer would need anything. Full. No more desires, all one’s desires have been met. How would a person conduct themselves? One would be able to be exactly what a person wished to do, with no regret, drawbacks or hampering. The cessation of all suffering.
