Beer Makes You Stronger?

Make no mistake - the conventional wisdom that drinking beer is a vice could be all wrong.

According to the International Journal of Endocrinology, bone strength is a direct result of calcification, which is supported by silicon dioxide. It turns out that one of the most prevalent sources of silicon dioxide is bread and grain, and indeed, beer.

Not only that, but beer contains a chemical called Xanthohumol, which often gives it that hoppy taste. And by legitimate scientific accounts, this chemical is an antioxidant that can prevent liver and colon damage.

I may not drink, and I may have played water pong in college, but if this research keeps coming out we might have to spend more time at the bars!
