Imagine this for a moment.
You grow up in a small town, predominately white, and with few minority friends. You go to college and interact with people treating everyone the same. One day you find yourself thrust into a "situation" where by an employee your family hired has become radicalized, is racist, hates people of color, Jewish people, Hispanic people and anyone that isn't white. The situation is thrust upon you by Law Enforcement that questions you about the families employee. They, LE, convince you (easily I might ad) to help them stop this horrible person from a crime he's planning. For 3 long infuriating months you cozy up to the racist and act like you agree with him. All while building a legitimate case to send him to prison.
It took me 3 years of college after that 3 months of horrible effort to get past it. I had never known people could really hate that much, could be that evil, and be that disgusting. I'm so proud that I was able to help put them in an institution (prison) where they belonged.
Then flash forward 30 + years after a life of meaningful work, helping others, doing the right thing - to be called a racist. I'm being called a racist because I don't support black lives matter, because I don't think we should have a national agenda protest and riot over a man like Floyd, and I believe and agree with the statistics that declare there is NO SYSTEMIC racism in LE. I want everyone to be treated right, but I'm tired of being called a racist when I DO KNOW what racist are like. Its painful.
Months or a few years ago I joined conservatives in "mocking" the people we called "snowflakes" for being unable to handle being told something they didn't want to hear. MY God I can empathize with them now because I don't like being called a racist and it needs to stop. I am proud to have stopped 6 racist bigots that hated people so much they tried to kill people. I am proud to have done my service in keeping the peace, doing right, and now the label that applies to those evil men is applied to me - all because I don't agree? You need to get a real clue BLM that I can disagree with you but it does not mean I am racist - not now - not ever. Get over yourselves. Get over it NOW.
