Is Anger a Bad Thing?

Emotions display no value except that which we impose upon them, because they are merely FEELINGS! They have no life of their own except what we choose to give them, so they cannot be 'good' or 'bad', except in the way we choose to make use of them. Hence, in one moment, anger can be a force for positivity, if it fires us up to be better or to achieve what we desire, or it can be a force of negativity if we use it to abuse or harm others.

Like everything about ourselves, anger is a perfectly natural emotion; a tool to help us cope with life and diverse situations. But, as in all things, it's the extremes that cause the problems: too much anger can lead to unforeseen consequences which are not likely to be favourable, and will reflect us in a poor light, whereas too little anger allows us to be bullied, or taken advantage of, or to become doormats for other people's control. Thus anger is all about degrees: how much of it we expose, or allow to influence our actions, and how appropriate it is to the actual situation when it is used.
