Which one to Choose

I designed a new banner (above) and two book covers. While I wait for the final polish before publishing my book, I decided to put my covers up for a vote.

This one I made first. I had to look up some tutorials to relearn how to make spheres and stars, but I think I got it.

So which one would make you most likely pick up from a bookstore? Any improvements I should make? Any better ideas?
