I mean, there are the macho types, but they really aren’t all that bad once they realize that you’re not trying to usurp their maleness or emasculate them... they just provide friendly banter at that point, and you sharpen yourselves against each other.  You being you doesn’t threaten a real man.

There are also the super-logical types that automatically assume that you are illogical and uneducated.  They can also be assholes at first, but their logical nature will eventually lead them to like and respect you if you earn it.  They engage with you on mutually beneficial discussions that enlighten both of you.  You being you doesn’t threaten a real man.

But so much more now there are these entitled shits that simultaneously cut down anything you are or do just because you are a woman while simultaneously attempting to steal your accomplishments for themselves.  Everything you are threatens the fabric of their being and their self-worth.  It is because they have been taught that they are special, good and powerful simply by the virtue of being born male, and not by anything they have done, learned or contributed to society.  Due to this, anything that is good, powerful, knowledgeable or that contributes to society that is not male undermines their basic belief system, self image and ego.  It makes them despise women who do not fit into the narrow role they allot them.  They are threatened by an authentic human being manifesting their full potential if that person is not male.  You being you threatens their ego and their pride.

Recently (though it is not the first time) I had someone attempt to steal original intellectual property from me.  This particular time based solely on the argument that they couldn’t ask me (a woman) for it, because I wasn’t nice or subservient enough to their ideas, since months before we had had a debate about women’s role in society that I had disagreed with him about and gave sound references backing why I disagreed.  In this instance they instead tried to influence a male colleague to give them my work instead.  That takes a special kind of shitbaggery.

This is a a male that uses the term “hypergamy” to describe every flaw in females, from Nancy Pelosi to Hillary Clinton to Khloe Kardshian instead of ascribing any other human traits or flaws to them instead.

I guess the only redeeming thing out of the whole scenario was in recognizing who, when presented with the facts of what happened supported me, and those who supported his deceitful thievery attempt.  Dick-sucking fuccbois come in all varieties... including the ones trying to get your ideas and designs...not just the ones trying to get into your bed.

These are not the kind of males that I grew up with, and I do not believe that they deserve the title “men.”  Not the one that attempted the theft, or who tried to justify or defend it.
