Family Memory

Made sticky rice last night. It brought back to me a memory of my family. It was World Cup 1994, also was my first time watching football. That night, I tried to stay up late in order to watch a good match with my family. While waiting for the game to start, we killed time by watching a TV show. That show showed the scene of a family cooking "sticky rice soup", which is made by sticky rice, sugar and ginger. Seeing that view, my Dad told my Mom she should cook that for us for the World Cup night.

After waiting for 45 minutes, each of us had a bowl of sticky rice soup to enjoy. And after eating, my sister and I fell asleep right away. My Dad made a joke that it seemed the children stayed up late to wait for something to eat only.

There are so many memories to remember, good or not so good they are still my family's memories.
