I am thinking so many thoughts and feeling so many emotions these last few days. I do not know how to honor her.
She was like a second mom to me. She was courageous, she was unapologetic with her morals as a humanitarian, strong-minded, strong-willed (and usually right), independent, extremely intelligent, had no patience for bullshit in this world, firm, yet gentle and extremely kind when given an honest chance to know her, and a fighter for equality for all souls on this planet. She was loved tremendously and will always be loved tremendously.
She taught me so much in the 4 short years I knew her, and because of her I am changed for the better. I will always carry her with me in my heart and I miss her greatly. Most importantly, I am heartbroken and worried for her loved ones so very much.
Always tell the people you love how much they mean to you. Tell them every single day. And never take a day for granted. Life is too short and too precious not to live it following your soul's calling.
And this is EXACTLY what she did.
Love you always, Rebecca.
