Over the past year and a half or so since I've been on Minds, I've come across comments every now and then that indicate that a lot of people don't know where to place Muslims on the political spectrum. Some people call them leftists, some call them right-wing, and others say that they're neither. This confusion can complicate the issue and make it more difficult for us on the right to analyze and understand the anti-West agenda of Muslims. It also makes it difficult to understand why Liberals and Progressives have joined forces with them. However, the position of Muslims on the political spectrum is easy to discern when we consider their interests and ambitions. We can then begin to understand the exact nature of the seemingly bizarre alliance between Muslims and the socialist left.
Actually, Muslims are right-wing conservatives and reactionaries... in their own homelands. In the U.S. and the rest of the West, they would be considered a faction of leftist radicals. They're not socialists, however, like socialists they do want to break down the established secular and Christian societies in the West in order to supplant them with their own and become the dominant and eventually sole power in every nation they try to conquer.
The reason the socialist left has aligned itself with them is two-fold. First, they're foreigners, generally from the Middle East, which means they're much more likely to vote Democrat, Labour Party, etc in order to keep immigration and welfare benefits flowing. We've seen this in the U.S. but, it's much more obvious in Europe and the U.K. Second, Muslims are vehemently opposed to traditional American values such as free speech and democracy. This makes them extremely attractive as, albeit temporary, allies for Progressives.
Their alliance can't last forever and they know this as an unspoken truth. But, they'll do their best to stick together as long as they have Western Conservatives and Reactionaries as common enemies.
