Is there are form of government that would work?

For decades I have listened to people telling me that there is something wrong with the government and that we should do something about. I have listened to the most unrealistic attempts to design a ‘’New System’’ or ‘’New Laws’’ that would fix everything. But the bottom line is that people do not want to fix the system, they want to rig it to benefit them.

Look around the swamp we call the web; listen to these ideas. All you hear are people talking about more welfare; they want the state to protect their industry; they want the state to put tariffs to protect their job; they want corporate bailouts to save their company; they want to deport people because these people are bringing down their wages… It is all about the money and it is hidden under a miles of fake morality bullshit.

The Right cries when the Left is in power, because the Left is using the state as a force of coercion to impose their ideology on others. When the Right is in power, they pretend that they are punching up and use the state as a force of coercion to impose their ideology and they feel completely justified doing so. This is the tyranny of the week.

The real issue is that we believe that politic should be used as a tool to advance an ideology. Think about it:

When you go to McDonalds to buy a big mac, you don’t want to hear bullshit about Jesus or Allah. When you go by a car, you don’t want to hear a pro-life or a pro-choice narrative. You only want the service you paid for.

The State pretends to be an entity that provides services. Let’s forget for a moment that the state is incredibly inefficient at providing any services. Why would this entity, that everyone is forced to pay into, imposing its ideology when it is providing the service?

• Why are schools teaching LGBT ideology instead of teaching math to our kids?

• Why is the police following the Duluth model?

• Why is the army hiring women when it is obvious that they won’t be sent to the front, making them worthless?

• Why would the UK hospitals deny service to people for being racist, when, according to them, only white people can be racist?

The State is dysfunctional at its core. So how could we possibly create a functional government?

I think the best way to create a functional government would be to have the right incentives:

Imagine if the elections wasn’t about politicians promising welfare to everyone and constantly more rights to women, at the detriment of men. Imagine if the only things that mattered during an election would be to see if a candidate was successful as a businessman and how much money he has invested into his country.

I believe that greed is a very strong motivator. If a politician stands to make a large sum of money if the economy of his country is doing well, he will have the biggest incentive to make it happen.

At the same time, we could tell candidates that do not have the credentials to manage a multibillion economy (such as a part time drama teacher) that they are unfit for the job.

Anyways, this solution I’m talking about might never happen and, like any other system, it would be corrupted after 1 or 2 generations. Politic just doesn’t work. The real solution is outside of the political realm.
