Analysis of ‘’Bird Box’’

Halloween is coming up and I think this is a great time to talk about an horror film on Netflix called Bird Box.

There has been a lot of analysis made about this film. These analyses talked about mystical creatures or the apocalypse. I believe these analyses are too complicated and I will propose a simpler one.

This movie talks place in the northern part of the blue state of California. Some woman is depressed because she is pregnant and you get the feeling that the movie will be around the theme of abortion. Then out of nowhere people start killing themselves left and right.

When the confusion clears up, the characters start talking about an entity. When you look at it you will have the uncontrollable urge to kill yourself.

The only person who has looked at the entity and lived to talk about it is an insane person and since he is trying to trick the people in the house, it means that we cannot trust anything he has to say.

The entire plot of the movie is around this creature we never see. I find it interesting that many movies today have plots around a menace that cannot be named or seen because it taps into our primal fear of the unknown.

However, I believe I have figured out what is this unseen menace.

I believe it is just some guy carrying a mirror to his home and all these democrats see their reflections in it. This leads them to see who they really are and once they realize what intolerable pieces of shit they are, they cannot bare living another second on this green Earth. So they off themselves as fast as they can.

Of course, I still believe that this movie is pure fiction because it would require for the democrats to have a soul to come to the conclusion that they are pieces of shit.
