The Red Notebook Entry 2: The Men In Black

"You'll dress only in the attire specifically sanctioned by MIB special services. You'll conform to the identity we give you, eat where we tell you, live where we tell you. From now on you'll have no identifying marks of any kind. You'll not stand out in any way. Your entire image is crafted to leave no lasting memory with anyone you encounter. You're a rumor, recognizable only désà vu and just as quickly. You don't exist. You were never been born. Anonymity is your name, silence your native tongue. You are no longer part of the system. Over it. We are them. We're "they". We are the Men in Black." - The Men in Black (1997)

Many ufologists have tales about encounters with Men in Black. Its believed that these men with an affinity for black attire are quasi government agents. These tales inspired the franchise The Men in Black.

Albert Bender formed the International Flying Saucer Bureau (IFSB) in 1952. One year later he shut it down. Albert Bender claimed he was silenced by men in black. Bender's encounter with this mysterious organization started the legend of the men in black.

John Keel had encounters with these men in black. He referred to them as "demonic supernaturals" and described them as having "dark skin and exotic facial features." Gray Barker made a mention of men in black in his book “They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers.”

A Jersey City UFO researcher Jack Robinson had his home searched in 1968. There was no sign of forced entry. A stranger in a black suit was spotted lurking outside of his home by a neighbor.

So this group of people is harassing ufologists. But why? Its hypothesized that they are covering up aliens hostile motives. Some say they might even be alien invaders themselves. These beliefs are fueled by their “exotic” appearances and eccentric behavior.

What are these “exotic facial features” that John Keel references? The men in black are more than men with a preference for black formal wear. It is reported that the men in black have no sign of facial hair. Not even a beard stubble or eyebrows. They speak in a monotone saying only a limited selection of phrases. Almost like an entity trying to pass a Turing Test. When they move they walk in a waddle, like a penguin. They drive black Cadillacs model years is the 50’s or 60’s. They have been known to also make use of black vans.

It is rumored that they have supernatural abilities. One of their abilities is telepathy. It is said that they communicate with one another in ways that we humans cannot hear or comprend. This could be why their speech patterns are strange. The next ability they are believed to possess is teleportation. Teleportation would fit with stories like Jack Robinson’s. But if they can teleport why do they use Cadillacs and black vans?

Other countries have their own versions of the Men in Black meme. For example the men wear gray in the UK. Hollywood is working on a follow up film in the MIB franchise, called Men in Black International. One has to wonder how the globalist element fit with the idea that the Men in Black is a division of the US government?

What are your thoughts on the Men in Black? Have you had any experiences with this group? Do you have any thoughts or theories you to share?
