This shows a shortage of medical professionals. The Atlantico Network is a new and evolving project that proposes to disrupt the traditional way medical services are offered. They reward patients and medical professional for medical service carried out on their platform.

How Does The Atlantico Network Works?

The Atlantico Network creates a link between the Pharmaceutical manufacturer, the wholesale pharmaceutical company and the retail pharmacy shops to be able to track the validity of a product and collaborate seamlessly.

The pharmaceutical manufacturer is the first mile in drug production, so they register their drug with the Atlantico Network. After registering, the Atlantico Network would assign the product crucial details that would be available to the end users; details such as assigning a unique ID to the product, the release and expiring date of the product. So the end users could track the authenticity of the drugs through the Unique ID given on production, and the release and expiring date of the drug on the blockchain. This enables the end users to be self-aware of the status of a drug before they consume it.

After the first process by the manufacturer, the products are shipped to the wholesale pharmaceutical company who then verifies the status of the drug before distributing it to the retail pharmacy across the globe.

Finally, the product is moved to the retails pharmacy shops who can then access different products information on the Atlantico blockchain network. The retail pharmacy shop would then be able to access information that has already been inputted on the blockchain to verify the authenticity, release and expiring date of the product, with the product unique ID, the price of the products and other information that is made available to the public by the Atlantico Network.

Thus, every user on the platform could be able to check and access information about a product and be able to track public information of the product from the first mile to the last-mile through the product ID.

This model of decentralization of medical services brings an entire end to counterfeit products in the medical field, which is worth more than 18.6 million pounds seized in the global crackdown. This would help alleviate the standard of living and life quality in human space as end users are able to determine which product good to take for their well being. Thus, the manufacturer would e able to regulate the price of their products to reduce overpriced products in the market.
