What am I Doing? What is My Function?

A Course in Miracles:

Forgiveness is my function as the light of the world. I would fulfill my function that I may be happy. (W62.5.2)

Forgiveness = My Function

My happiness and my function are one.
God gives you only happiness. Therefore, the function He gave you must be happiness, even if it appears to be different.( W66.4:2-3)

Happiness = My Function

Salvation is my only function here. (W99.6:7)

Salvation = My Function

To believe that you can perceive the real world is to believe that you can know yourself. You can know God because it is His Will to be known. The real world is all that the Holy Spirit has saved for you out of what you have made, and to perceive only this is salvation, because it is the recognition that reality is only what is true. (T11.VII.4:7-9)

Salvation = To Know Yourself

So If:

Forgiveness = My function

and

Happiness = My function

then:

Forgiveness = Happiness

And If:

Happiness = My function

and

Salvation = My function

then:

Happiness = Salvation

And If:

Salvation = To know Yourself

and

Happiness = Salvation

then:

Happiness = To know Yourself

So If:

Happiness = To know Yourself

and

Happiness = Your function

THEN:

To know Yourself = YOUR FUNCTION

But we already knew that from the Bible didn't we?

You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. Matthew 7:5

Tremble, and do not sin; Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Psalm 4:4

Let us examine and probe our ways, And let us return to the LORD. Lam.3:40

But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. Cor.11:28
