These wonderful biscuits are great with a cup of tea. Sweet and buttery with bursts of blueberry. This quick and simple recipe will impress anyone.
Blueberry Biscuit Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cup FLOUR
1/3 cup SUGAR
4 tsp BAKING POWDER
1 tsp SALT
1 cup MILK
5 Tbsp BUTTER
3 oz BLUEBERRIES
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degree Fahrenheit.
1) Freeze Butter.
2) Mix FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, and SALT in a medium bowl.
3) Add cold MILK, mix to combine to form crumbly dough.
4) With cheese grater, grate BUTTER over dough. Fold in butter and knead dough. Gently fold in blueberries.
5) Pinch off dough about 2 Tbsp and gently form into a disk, place on a grease cookie sheet. Repeat with rest of the dough.
6) Bake in the oven for 7-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
