Coinbase: Learn and earn; small time investment for roughly $36! XLM / EOS / DAI / BAT

Coinbase started a campaign for several cryptocurrencies earlier this year. They give away free coins and tokens in exchange for verifying your account with them and learning a bit about the currencies they give out and the technology behind them.

Currently, they have ran out of ZRX and ZEC that were reserved for the "give away" and soon this will happen to the others they are offering as well.

At the time of writing this blog, they still have XLM, DAI, EOS and BAT available. In total the value is $36 for just a few minutes of lessons on the currency they give out.

I will summarize the steps required to become eligble for this "give away" , so that you best can consider whether it is worth your time.

-First you will need to create a Coinbase account.

-Then you will need to upload a valid form of ID into your account.
In my case the verification of my document went rather quickly and the account was verified within a few minutes.

-After this is done, you can use this link to be invited to the one for XLM.

-Then you navigate to the learn page when logged into your Coinbase account.

-Open all the courses for the coins and tokens that are still available aside from the XLM one. This will automatically result into your account being put on the "Waiting list" for those courses. Now you only have to wait until you receive the go signal in your mailbox.

-Watch the short clips for the currencies that they give away.

-Answer the extremely easy quiz question in regard to the currency at the end of each video. You don't even actually have to watch the videos, they literally are that easy. Since they are multiple choice and since most of the wrong answers don't even make sense at times. It does require you to at least start the video for a few seconds, I believe the button stays greyed out if you do not.

That's it. Easy $36.

You can convert them to whatever currency you want on the Coinbase platform as well. Against their rates of course, but you can also choose to send them off to your wallet directly.

============UPDATE============

Recently, I was offered the option to take another lesson for a quick $15 worth of DAI. In this "advanced" lesson you will receive a little bit of Ethereum if you download the coinbase wallet app. After having done this, you will have to open the CDP Portal in order to generate DAI tokens by opening a Collateralized Debt Position (CDP). When you have completed the steps, you will have around $15's worth of DAI (small portion is eth) in your Coinbase account.
