This past weekend, UCLA Gymnast Katelyn Ohashi, scored a "perfect 10" for her floor routine. She's a spectacular athlete, and, from the video I've seen, deserving of the accolades.
Meanwhile, Gillette, the razorblade people and subsidiary of Procter and Gamble released their latest ad campaign against "toxic masculinity". I tried to watch their ad, but I didn't get more than 5-10 seconds into it before clicking away.
Isn't it interesting that the celebration of the female athlete happens at the same time as the pontificating of those who tell men they better not "objectify" women?
Somebody from Gillette better get with NBC news which featured Ohashi on last night's "Making a Difference" segment during the national news broadcast with Lester Holt.
