Before we begin, for a moment let's remove the "they live" glasses, let's pretend we're not aware that the bbc, among other things are massive climate alarmists. They are also a massive propaganda machine and know their withholding. As well as their painting of events with broad brush strokes the colour of their views. I'm not saying let's put all this aside to point the blame elsewhere or give them a millionth benefit of the doubt. I'm merely saying this to separate the robot from the factory and look at the robot in isolation.
The bot in question is a certain Mr. Brian Cox. It feels harsh attaching robot or mechanical analysis to him because robots actually bother to do that; analyse.
Wooden, we'll opt for wooden because although he wasn't quite the front man or the star guitarist...or talented drummer in 90s band D-ream, it's seems more fitting for his persona. You remember D-ream, that band whose song became attached to new labour. I'm sure it's a mere coincidence he ended up with a contract at labour luvvy bbc.
A decent brit pop group that made some good music. So what turned him from a keyboard player to a climate expert? I'd like to think a freak accident where he hired a voodoo practioner to turn him into a drummer or a relevant member of the band instead made him trade places with a drumstick. There could be the real Brian Cox lying somewhere on a studio floor and adopting his body now is a bbc puppeteered drumstick, not creating catchy tunes but drumming up hysteria.
But assuming the voodoo accident never occurred, it is a long shot, then what created this smarmy arrogant puppet? Living in the shadows of the Gallagher brothers and Damon Albarn too long?
Was it pure bbc finding an opportunistic narcissist to broaden their market and climate alarmist research? Attenborough to keep the oldies, Cox to lure in the hipsters?
Though at 51, he's about as young as a tolerated white male will get on the bbc given their outright sexism and racism against hiring them. And preference for different appearance...expect the same views albeit lesser credentials from the gender studies major black lesbian with one leg who follows on from Cox in years to come.
Or alternatively, did he find a need for getting word out there about an environment he cares about and relish having a platform to do so? I think the bbcs motivations (bringing in a younger audience to indoctrinate with their ideology) are pretty cut and dry. And Mr Cox, I don't believe in voodoo so there goes my first theory. The others, whether he harboured jealousy, living in the shadows or saw a big payday and willingly attached the puppet strings himself OR saw a way to get his benevolent word out is yet to be clarified.
So, let's look at the behaviour synonymous with finding a new- and massive- audience for your findings you believe to be world changing. You'd be getting out there with every opportunity, spreading the word and disputing any false narratives that hide these views.
Pure transparency. And when he puts out things like ask me anything posts online, it would appear to be an honest step in the right direction. However, after being caught repeatedly deleting questions. Either him or his trusty admin, though the thread didn't seem so huge as to warrant deleting for honest reasons like reducing traffic on one particular topic. Deleting questions that did not compute. Something that happened repeatedly. They can't all have been for profanities surely?
Maybe. But maybe we're stretching our imaginations back into voodoo territory...
So to wipe the slate and give him another go, onto the T.V. debate. On the world stage. Probably his most famous climate related, "I have the data" appearance.
"I have the data" he proclaimed with a smug grin. His opposition, Malcolm Roberts, pointed out that it had been altered. Cue the onslaught of social media versus Mr. Roberts for saying something so preposterous that NASA would alter data. The same NASA that took a handful of scientists data over 49 former employees who disputed this data, and put it's whole reputation on the line for these now exposed as botched stats. The same NASA that also completely erased the 1998 El Nino temperature spike. Didn't fit their government funded fairytale so ended up on the cutting room floor.
Another opposer to NASA's operations is former employee, Robert Spencer. Who called out Brian Cox on social media to a debate. Maybe that offer to have a dialogue was accidentally deleted too? Except it wasn't and Mr Spencer invited him to several platforms to debate. Radio silence.
Malcolm Roberts is a very accomplished man. A former miner who has a bachelor of engineering and an mba in business. Though due to a lack in climate science related credentials was doubted by audience and (if there were any) honest panel members alike. Roy Spencer however, verses Cox's 1 thesis and particle physics PhD has been a meteorologist, principal research scientist and senior scientist for climate studies. Surely if the puppet/robot that is Brian Cox endeavoured to get word out there and better the world, then he would jump at any offer to debate.
It seems this did not compute either. So maybe my puppet analogy is a bit harsh and given the bbc also refuse to host Mr Spencer that he is merely another robot in the factory. Robocox it is. Robocox at the famous t.v. debate slated Roberts and hinted at him even likely not believing in the moon landing if he didn't believe, "the data".
Actually 100% of those who landed on the moon believe the man made climate change that just coincidentally led to a lot of advocates and big green companies pockets being lined by tax payers money (pure knock on effect not the plan all along at all), the moon landers cox brought up all believe his claims are a hoax.
But before we send this sap/chunk of metal onto the fire/heap, let's give him that chance to climb the come to your senses fences, take the assault course of fiction divorce, the retrieve my pride slide...
Humility points: Mr Cox has not conceded anything, rather ignored or deleted. No points.
Double down deduction: Either a regularly erased memory to fit each days bbc propaganda in or pure ignorance when he has been disproven. Minus 20.
Glass house stone thrower: he directed the mob to Mr. Roberts for pointing out an unfortunate truth and though he hasn't played victim he instead deflects and diversified his topics to different discussions. Minus 5.
Redeeming qualities: D-ream were an okay band, dispite the robots small contributions, plus 2.
Overall score: -23
He can't claim the title as biggest climate bullshitter, given his lack of autonomy. But still a solid name in this generations green tyrants.
