So I just came across a project that literally blew my mind (still trying to patch it up *grin face*) and I’m sure it will have the same effect on Y'all. It’s called NODVIX.
So what is NODVIX did I hear you say? And what is so great about it?
Simple. Power! Well, not the kind you were taught in physics classrooms and labs. This is true power (in the abstract sense) placed in the hands of all and sundry to express themselves and share events and going on with the whole world without fear of censorship or manipulation.
The NODVIX idea was created by a team of young, energetic guys obviously fed up with the current system of with which things are being done in the media industry that feeds us with warped and censored information that makes some look good and others look like demons (depending on who’s paying) and have decided to create a 24-hour, unbiased and unrestricted broadcasting platform built on the Ethereum blockchain that is totally free of outside influences, has no geographical restrictions and has an open door policy for all that may wish to participate while ensuring safety and transparency in every single transaction that goes on within it.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The content creators post a media file (can be a video, music, movie or just about anything else) on the NODVIX platform, the advertiser also does the same with their banners or clips. Torrent files are then produced from these with encrypted wallet addresses for profit sharing. Torrent nodes (about 2000 of them) then review them and decide on the content category and adverts are placed in the category they are based on (this is the stage where illegal contents are blocked). The adverts are then incorporated into the contents and they are then placed in one of the many channels found on the platform based on their category for the viewers to enjoy.
The profit paid by the advertisers are then shared in NODVIX tokens as thus:
• 83% for the content makers
• 2% for the unsupported nodes
• 8% for the master nodes
• 5% for marketing
• 2% for platform development
Also, advertisers get to enjoy discounts too when they pay using NODVIX in the first three years of the platform’s existence as thus:
1st year – 33% discount
2nd year – 17% discount
3rd year – 8.5% discount
4th year - 0% discount
