The Sand Tiger Shark or also known as the Grey Nurse Shark Spotted Ragged-tooth Shark or Blue-nurse Sand Tiger is a species of shark that can be found in subtropical and temperate waters worldwide and is listed as vulnerable.

Reasons for vulnerable status - fishing, low reproduction rates.

Conservation efforts - It is illegal to fish in some countries and does live in captivity as well.
