The Eld's Deer also known as the Thamin or Brow-antlered Deer is a deer native to South Asia and is listed as endangered.

Reasons for endangered status - Hunting, Habitat loss, deforestation, inbreeding. 

Conservation efforts - They live in National parks and protected areas, but even in the protected areas, they are poached.

Science Name: Panolia eldii

Height: 110 – 125 cm

Length: 150 – 180 cm 

Weight: 125– 175 kg

Native Locations: India, Myanmar, Cambodia, China, Thailand, Vietnam

Lifespan: 16 - 20 (Captivity)

Conservation status: Endangered (EN)
