Comrade Al Franken - So long Coward

Al Franken, as you have most likely heard, is resigning from the Senate.  This comes after numerous allegations of sexual harassment.  His resignation comes after 8 1/2 years in Senate with no remarkable achievements.

Franken claimed that he is innocent, and that an investigation would have proven him innocent.  Yet in the same breath, he claimed that other people under allegations with far less (meaning none) evidence are guilty and should follow his cowardly path of resigning.  Hypocrite much Mr. Franken?

Well Al, in all honesty I did at times think you were a good comedian.  Not just as a Senator, but in your career before that as a Comedian.  Today however marks the day that your legacy will be that of a coward and idealogue. 

While you are vocal about your innocence, you are also without a gram of feck.  Instead of fighting for your Liberty and innocence, ensuring that your Constitutional rights are upheld (see the 6th Amendment), you turn tail and decry that others should follow your lead.  More appropriately, lack of leadership.

Outside of being feckless, you are a demagogue and idealogue.  Your resignation's purpose becomes clear with your claim that others should give up their rights to defend their Liberty.  You are promoting (intentionally or not) the politics of the Progressive Left (yes, that Marxist group we have been fighting for decades in the US).

If the Progressive Leftists wins, the Al Franken legacy might be that of a martyr.  Otherwise, the Al Franken legacy will be that of a coward who promotes a communist ideology, and has-been comedian.
