People are always debating whether the ideal of work ethic should be working smart and optimizing or working hard and hustling.
Well, it's an odd debate because arguing either side implies that the other side is less useful when that is not the case. Working hard and working smart go hand in hand for achieving the best results. If you only do one or the other then you can only beat someone on your level or below whereas if you are doing both you have set yourself up to have the most potential to succeed.
What do you think about these two different perspectives on work ethic? Should one be favored over the other? Should we strive for balance? Do they even matter?
