The source of the Danube

I always wanted to know where the Danube was from and to look at the place.

When we were in Germany for a while, we visited the Danube-spring in Donaueschingen. This is now a tourist attraction.

The sign indicates the source of the Danube, which is the language of every country in which the Danube flows.

The river is called Danube from the meeting of the Berg and Brigach brook, which is near in Donaueschingen. The Danube-spring flows in to the Brigach brook. A small church was build here too.

There are restaurants and cafés near the source square.
