Some more freedom habits. One cannot be free unless one is healthy.

  1. Most people do not get enough fiber. There are two kinds. Soluble and insoluble and they do different things for us. Soluble fiber is good for gut bacteria, stabilises blood sugar, and reduces cholesterol.  It is found in oats and beans. Insoluble fiber, on the other hand is good for keeping us regular and fills us up, making weight loss easier. This is found in vegetables and wholemeal bread. Knowing this, we can get both kinds.
  2. Energy levels are directly linked to income. To boost energy levels, control blood sugar. I am diabetic to this is almost a full time job for me.
  3. Caffeine boosts energy in the short term but reduces it in the longer term by raising blood sugar. It takes around six hours to leave the system. It can disrupt sleep and is somewhat addictive.
  4. The ultimate measure of health is the age of our DNA. This can be reversed!
  5. For most people, fruit is good. Fruit juice is bad. For diabetics, it is all bad.
