Everything has never looked so bleak

Have we lost our ourselves?

Where the roads go, we cannot follow

Everything we knew and love, fades away.

A couple has arrived to their house,

Their kids so eager to play

The family never seem so happy,

Yet completely unaware

As they fade away.

The house lies empty, haunted by memories

Nothing ever grows here anymore.

Where did they go, why have they fade away?

On the country side, kids see the cows and horses

Farmers and ranchers go about their day.

Life was ever so good, even in tough times.

But now it all began to fade.

Fade away.

Now the farm and ranch are all gone.

Animals no longer roam there.

It all went to ash.

Memories are all that’s left.

Everything fades away.

In the city life, where we work so hard

There were so few problems.

Everything was alright. We all get along

Until something happened.

And it all fade away.

Kids always enjoy visiting grandparents

Whether it’s the holidays, they all celebrate.

Kids listen to their grandpa tell them stories.

The life of old that gets passed down.

Now that’s all fading away.

Grandparents are no longer remembered.

Buried in unmarked graves, no one ever visits.

Why did it all fall apart?

Why did it all fade away?

Schools used to mean something.

We taught so many things,

We used to have so many memories,

Both good and bad.

Our lives were growing at the time.

But now it all fades away.

Schools no longer hold meaning,

But instead poisons our mind.

We no longer strive to grow,

But demand entitlement,

We no longer get along,

But believe in the lies,

Which turned us against one another.

Now schools no longer serve a purpose.

It all fade away.

Entertainment was something we enjoyed.

It brought us to tears and laughter.

Got us to think about things.

But now it no longer entertains,

But leave ashen taste in our mouths.

Now it all fades away.

All the hate and lies,

All the things they pass as entertainment,

Was nothing but propaganda.

They never intent to entertain,

But to have us hate each other.

Now it all fades away.

What dreams we had,

Whether they be careers or family,

Whether they be seeing the world

Or singing a song.

It motivated us to achieve.

The pursuit of happiness.

Now it all fades.

Fades away.

What are dreams, but a distant illusion.

No matter how hard we try,

We can never achieve our dreams.

Everything turns to ash and fades away.

Where do we go from here?

When can we finally awake?

Is this truly the end?

Or can we rise from the ash,

And begin our journey anew?

Will we finally learn?

Or will we continue?

Will we finally remember,

Or will we forget again?

Will all this fade away…
