A Temporary Spam Solution for Blogs

Lately my blogs have been filled with a lot of what is best regarded as spam. On a blog that attempts to discuss algorithms, commenters have deviated into Jewish conspiracies, sexuality, and pornographic memes. I prefer to discuss ideas on my blogs so I have come up with a temporary solution that doesn't require blocking anyone, censoring anyone, or crying out to Minds staff.

Here it is:

Make your blog posts subscription only to read, but offer to pay your readers the subscription costs.  This means that most spammers or others that wish to derail the conversation will be forced to pay you, and therefore will most likely not do so. Yet anyone who you asks, will be able to read you blog for free, because you reimburse them the payment. The condition here is that they continue to be well behaved on your blog posts, otherwise you will not reimburse their subscription fees. They will not be prevented from commenting on your blog, but if they don't like you, they aren't likely to want to subscribe to you.
