All Slogan & No Action

I love Minds. In my opinion, Minds is the best alternative to Facebook and other bigger platforms. Minds is great. You can post (almost) anything (except illegal content that really sick pervs keep trying to post as "cartoons").

Minds is home to the far right. Minds is home to the far left. Minds is home to a ton of artists. Minds is home to many intellectual elites who know the answer to the question "To be or not to be?". Minds is also home to ghetto dudes like me. I love Minds.

What Minds is not home to is actual politicians, real political groups or big time social media content creators. The big time social media content creators are also on Youtube and use alt tech as redundancy and not as their primary choice to spread their message. I have been here on Minds for over one year and I noticed that Minds isn't really growing. "Why is Minds stagnating?" is a question that never has been addressed. If, Bill Ottman addressed this question he'd lose many many users. 

Since, I am not Bill, I can go ahead and address it. 

Here is the biggest problem Minds is facing. That problem is "the vast majority of content creators on this platform are not original thinkers". Then again, all other platforms suffer from the same problem.

When I read content from things I like it is the same stuff you can see or read on Google owned platforms or Facebook. No one is original. The people are just ripping off ideas from mainstream media or well known YouTubers.

Here is an example of what I am writing about. Some person from a group kicked off Twitter or YouTube or whatever reason they're using Minds, posted this:

"WE THE PEOPLE" OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
DEMAND
*Every City Council and School Board member
*Every Mayor and Governor
*Every Senator and Representative
*Every Judge and Every Court

DEFEND AND UPHOLD THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES

*Defend fair and clean elections
*Defend Freedom of Speech
*Defend Freedom of Religion
*Defend Right to Bear arms
*Defend right to work(no more lock downs)
*Denounce mask mandates
*Denounce mandatory vaccines
*Encourage and pursue Patriotism to our Flag and our Nation
*STOP CANCEL CULTURE
* Preserve our History and our Monuments"

Come on now, that literally means nothing. Those are merely slogans echoed because they heard someone else mention it. When a new user to Minds reads this type of content, they will go back straight to Twitter, or YouTube or Facebook.

As a user to Minds, it is up to you to write and/or post video content, that is original.  Having passion isn't enough. If all you are going to do is parrot someone else's ideas in ALL CAPS, just don't do it. All caps is not original thinking.

If you, the wannabe content creator, shouldn't post ALL CAPS, what should you do then? Get your friends and family and post stuff that they would like to see. Instead of trying to be the next FOX News or CNN, practice your "original ideas" at home with your friends.

I'm going to show you what "original thought" looks like by using that person's list of "WE THE PEOPLE...DEMAND". (Remember, I'll need to do more than write slogans if I want that list to survive. A (viable) call to action will be needed.)

Since we are demanding, you servants of the public, to uphold the highest law of the land, we at my "fill in the blank" group will raise a lot of money for you. We are aware that corporations and billionaires donate millions for you to not "uphold" the Constitution but "we the people" will give you millions to uphold the oath you take to serve us. When our group pays you millions, we want you to:

*Defend Right to Bear arms
*Defend right to work(no more lock downs)
*Denounce mask mandates
*Denounce mandatory vaccines
*Encourage and pursue Patriotism to our Flag and our Nation

* Preserve our History and our Monuments"

Listen up, dear readers, this is about money. No one cares about what you think unless you line their pockets. Look at Texas. Texas is home to the "reddest" state in the country but it is officially purple. I know you like the list of what we demand but we need to raise an equal amount of money for these elected servants to do what we want.

 If you can't raise money for actual conservatives (because even Ted Cruz isn't that conservative because Ted Cruz gets a lot of money from George Sorros) Texas will turn blue. Austin is as blue as LA. (It isn't SF blue...yet) and it is spreading throughout Texas because true hardcore conservatives like ourselves let the churches fall apart and lost our way in raising money for our true conservative politicians. If you want to elect a politician who will defend and support our list, raise money for that candidate. How? 

1. Throw an event with good entertainment.

2. Charge $40. Split with the entertainer, the venue and for the candidate (50% for the candidate and 50% between venue and entertainer. If there is a bar the venue gets 0% but 100% of their bar and the candidate can get 75%. 

2A. Your event can be at your church but make sure your pastor isn't pocketing all the money

3. Create advertising on your local media. I mean 24/7 advertising on local tv, radio and social media sites.

4. If you hold events once a week (with a goal of 1000 people paying the $40) you should get $2mil a year (after costs) for advertising...which is way more than most lobbyists are willing to pay. You can do this...regardless of your age, you can do this...people love a good party. 

I know many of you out there are "old-timers" and think "hey that is unethical". You're probably thinking "back in my day, we were honest and did things out of patriotism." I say to you, "BS mother effer, corruption is as ancient as King Tut and all your heroes were most likely corrupt". If you want to be relevant, do as I say and become a money magnet. 

Don't confuse raising money with breaking the law. The laws of "money in politics" have changed to make us "Nobodies" irrelevant in every election across this country. We need to stop trying to win the Olympic 4 X 100 race in our grandfather's 1932 Jesse Owens sneakers when the rest of the competitors are using Nike "Zoom Superfly Elite Volt Track Spikes". We here, using Minds need to buy some Superfly Elite Volt shoes if we are to grow.
