here we have a historic home built in the 1920's with a need for a garage and some extra space without negatively impacting the existing historic character . . . .

and recently we began looking at how to improve things on the historic home directly . . . .

all with an eye on preserving the scale and character of the property when viewed from the street which is shown in the west view . . . . as you can see the historic home is unchanged from the street and only minimally altered elsewhere.
