I am RE-thinking a lot of things at the moment, mostly how to move around time/activities so as to write more articles. I read (and sometimes reply to) everything I get in #socialcontrolmedia but it's a time drain. I know many feel the same.
By trying to make #gnu#linux "like Mac" you alienate existing GNU/Linux users while attracting none of these "Mac" fans. Those to blame are probably nontechnical managers...
By trying to be 'smart' #gnomeshell became dumb and annoying, e.g. moving all windows to other virtual desktops to help 'squash' a new-vacated virtual desktop (due to software crash). Who came up with these nonsensical 'improvements'?
