Look at this ad. How does it make you feel? Maybe you feel a bit odd - a touch queasy; maybe your heart rate went up just slightly, and you just can't tell exactly why. Don't worry, I'll tell you why - it's because you can't imagine an ad being the other way around. Do you expect to ever see an ad where a woman looks meek and defeated while a man hoovers over her triumphantly with a smug look on his face? Yeah, didn't think so.
