This rather colorful relative of the sea horse is called the Weedy Sea Dragon, and can be seen (or not) camouflaged, drifting along with the current in the swaying seaweed and grassy meadows in Southern Australia, from New South Whales to Geraldton and Tasmania. The weedy sea dragon generally looks in small crevices and other out of the way places for plankton, small shrimp, and other crustaceans, for which they swallow whole through their snout. ......................................................................................................................................................... #science #marinescience #nature #biology #animal

At least 125 militants of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies were killed or injured in a series of Syrian airstrikes on Taftanaz airbase in the eastern part of Idlib. Two Su-24MK warplanes of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) carried out the airstrikes, which targeted buildings and hangars inside the militant-held airbase. Nine vehicles which were parked inside the airbase were also destroyed. Opposition activists confirmed that the airbase was hit with at least four airstrikes on the noon of May 23 and released several videos of the aerial attack. A coalition of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and al-Qaeda captured Taftanaz airbase in April 2012. Back then, dozens of Syrian service members, including pilots, were killed. Some of them were executed by the FSA. The airstrikes on the airbase were just a part of the ongoing Syrian-Russian aerial attack on militants’ positions in Idlib and its surroundings. https://southfront.org/more-than-100-militants-killed-injured-in-syrian-airstrikes-on-taftanaz-airbase-in-eastern-idlib/ ................................................................................................................................................................ #syria #war #news

Again: Microsoft tells you what you need and what you don't need. To bad though if you disagree, they'll twist your arm and break it off if you don't like it. People still don't get it though. There are so many opensource operating systems running on Linux out there....I just dont get it. Its like people are brainwashed or something into using Microsoft Windows. Why choose slavery over freedom?! Microsoft is pulling support for Wi-Fi networks secured with WEP or TKIP. So what should you do, not only to be able to connect to wireless networks, but also to keep your network up and running for your devices? The only way to go is to switch to WPA2 or WPA3, which Windows 10 will continue to support going forward [...or wake up and ditch Windows altogether] “Wi-Fi routers should be updated to use AES ciphers, available with WPA2 or WPA3,” Microsoft briefly explains. https://news.softpedia.com/news/why-future-windows-10-version-will-block-some-wi-fi-networks-526143.shtml ............................................................................................................................................................. #compassion #technology #wifi #microsoft #windowssucks
