Movie Review: I am Not an Easy Man - Subtle French Success
The Netflix rom-com "I am Not an Easy Man" does a playful job of exploring male and female differences by dropping a playboy into an alternate Paris where women are in charge.
Clever, thoughtful, and not too heavy-handed, this French movie would have been botched by Hollywood, which is more interested in explosions and propaganda than treating the audience with dignity.

Author Philip Wyeth asks, do people from the United States have any right to speak about the changes they observe sweeping across their country? Are they allowed to say yes or no to policies that seem to come down from on high? Or are they supposed to shut up and step aside, because what was once a country based on a set of principles is now just a place where people live?
