O holy hierarch and servant of Christ, Maughold, pray for us sinners. Although once a fallen prince led astray to a life of plunder and robbery, our Lord God in His Loving Mercy brought thee forth to be a loyal bishop to the Manx peoples, a Calling accepted by thee in great penance and with self-sacrifice. May we also find ourselves ready in our sins to take on and accept God's Designs with boldness as you did, and serve others in the Name of Christ with your help and intercessions. Amen.
