National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellites capture incredible images of Tonga volcano eruption. The event took place 60km (37 miles) away from the Pacific country of Tonga, which has experienced huge tsunami waves as a result of the eruption. Plumes of gas, smoke and ash from the volcano have reached an altitude of 20km, and the sound of the eruption was so loud it could be heard 800km (500 miles) away in Fiji. #news #science #volcano #tsunami #tonga
