Dehydrating chives

The wife volunteered to help change over an herb garden at a semi-local school. In one of their beds they were growing chives, which they wanted to switch over to something else. In "payment" for volunteering to do some of the garden work, she got multiple cubic feet of loosely packed chives. Here is one partial tray, as we cleaned and prepped the chives to go into the dehydrator. #gardening #homesteading #homesteading community
