A hiker who had gone hiking solo in the mountains texted a single image of his legs dangling off a cliff and the scenery of the valley down below to his friend before he went missing. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department got to work and posted the picture online, asking for help recognizing the spot; and luckily a man online used it to locate him, thus saving his life.
