I like urban modern fantasy "but" Avatar had its' own developed lore and its' own world. To me it's a masterpiece and should be "left alone" until someone wants to give respect to the source material and the original creators. If you want people with "super powers" in a school setting that's X-men. Y'know, Xavier's school for gifted children?
