The age of the Internet has created an extremely competitive landscape for independent artists and content creators. It has become quite difficult to stand out among the vast numbers of options. As a consumer of independent content, I automatically move past any content creators who still post their own content to YouTube. I'll save my attention for those who don't support big tech and giant media conglomerates.
