"Terms such as "white privilege" may have contributed towards a “systemic neglect” of white working-class pupils in the education system, a Commons committee has found.
The committee agreed with the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities that discourse around the term “white privilege” can be “divisive”."
Well, knock me down with a fucking feather. 🪶🪶👩🏻🦰
However, it's not all common sense:
"But some have rejected the committee's findings and accused MPs of stoking a "culture war"."
LMAO. Additionally, Labour, the party of the working class (snort), are refusing to support the proposals. Labour MPs said:
"To make recommendations which pit different groups within our multi-ethnic working class against each other in a struggle for meagre resources is to do an injustice to our most disadvantaged children..."
LMAO again. It's also been dismissed by teaching organisations, who probably have some kind of interest in CRT bullshit infecting the UK education system.
Still, it's a start, I guess.
