@LindaDM This is the vid I mentioned for you. This is just a VERY quickly put together frame for solar filter paper, This all depends on how big your piece of paper is and how big your lens is... If you are using a camera then I suggest you use the hood, even if you reverse it. If you are using a telescope you may have to do a little jiggery-pokery to make it the right size. Feel free to ask questions. I realise that this was made VERY quickly and my explanations may not be the best! Sorry about the refocusing... I really need to learn how to stop it doing that. >.>

My solar filter FINALLY arrived... I only bought it 3 weeks BEFORE the partial eclipse. >.> Anyway... I have it now. This is a pic I got today. That black spot is not muck on my lens, that is a sunspot! If I want to get better pics I will need a FAR bigger lens... Or maybe a telescope with a camera connector? #MyPhoto #Astronomy #TheSun #SolarPhotography #Helios
