@LindaDM This is the vid I mentioned for you. This is just a VERY quickly put together frame for solar filter paper, This all depends on how big your piece of paper is and how big your lens is... If you are using a camera then I suggest you use the hood, even if you reverse it. If you are using a telescope you may have to do a little jiggery-pokery to make it the right size. Feel free to ask questions. I realise that this was made VERY quickly and my explanations may not be the best! Sorry about the refocusing... I really need to learn how to stop it doing that. >.>

My solar filter FINALLY arrived... I only bought it 3 weeks BEFORE the partial eclipse. >.> Anyway... I have it now. This is a pic I got today. That black spot is not muck on my lens, that is a sunspot! If I want to get better pics I will need a FAR bigger lens... Or maybe a telescope with a camera connector? #MyPhoto #Astronomy #TheSun #SolarPhotography #Helios

@katsuakira This is a dipstick and how you would normally use it. Your bike doesn't need it because you had that little window thingie? Most engines don't have those, they have dipsticks. Hope this helps. B-)
