On June 10, 2021 parts of the northern hemisphere observed either an annular or partial solar eclipse! People in the narrow path of annularity — which, for this eclipse, cuts through Canada, Greenland, and northern Russia — will see the ring of fire effect as the Moon passes across the Sun. The partial eclipse fell on parts of the eastern United States, as well as northern Alaska.
