Update: Yeah, no, Kelly's dehumanizing of VC2 and cognitive dissonance of VC2 being a machine, but VC1 and Vick being human was never mentioned or brought up. However, in the chapter immediately following Kelly calling VC2 inhuman, she shoots VC2, then goes, "I KILLED HER," and then it's Vick going, "No, that was a machine." We don't get exploration into any of this and it just reads as poor writing and flip-flopping narration for nothing other than self-gratification maybe? I don't know. The book ends on the line, "Our hearts make us human and love makes us whole." IF YOU REFUSED VC2 LOVE, then you made her inhuman, I guess. I don't know. I'm bothered. #amreading #woven #ElleEIre #writingcommunity #AtLastImDone

Minds #writingcommunity, what in your experience defines a fully developed character? What are some symptoms of a character being improperly or incompletely developed? Feel free to cite examples of complete or incomplete characterization from fiction to support your answer. (Art by Honje.)

#prosefinder #writingcommunity #amreading #creativecommunity *** I'm trying to put together a list of good questions for an #AuthorTube new release tag since it doesn't look like there is one. This way, when you have a book coming out, here's a list of fun questions to talk about the story and give information on what it's about to potential readers. What are some questions that you're usually interested in when it comes to the creation of a story or the contents of the story that might give you a hint of whether you'd like to read the story or not? Think... when an actor is doing interview circuits to hype up a new movie release. What sorts of questions would hype you up on a book?
