The Pendulum Problem
Thanks to @displaynameforrent for suggesting this
Do note that it's also valid to arrive at this result from the equation of motion d2theta/dt2 + g/L sin(theta), with the stipulation instead that a=-gsin(theta). The only difference is that I've embedded the negative sign into g prior to the problem. The result will be a differential equation whose general solution is expressed in complex exponentials whose real component is equivalent to my solution (a sum of sines and cosines.)
