I was looking more into this narrative that bitcoin was "seized" by the feds. Some are making it seem like they "hacked" bitcoin or something. And "news" outlets are obviously useless. What it seems like happened is the hackers moved the ransom bitcoin to exchanges, likely to swap it for other coins/"launder" it. The government obviously had the original wallet address and were watching it for activity They most likely saw the transfer and contacted the exchanges, who allowed them to seize it. That's literally it. No "hacking," no magic.
