I usually draw on a larger piece of paper. Since I had to spend some weeks in the Mojave desert recently, I took this smaller sketch pad with me. I managed to fit this idea onto one of the pages. Unfortunately, it was not a great place for drawing. Besides being busy, and not having much time to sit down and focus on my picture, the sketch pad was blown open by a sand storm and dropped in the dirt. Plus, I was without AC most of the time and I was dripping sweat onto this picture while I was drawing it.
