PONCHO THE CAT PONDERS THE FUTURE Deciding On Stories Is The Story Practically everything in life revolves around politics, even the Right to go to the beach without a face mask. As much as political news stories impact us they shouldn't dominate this Channel, most of us can only handle so much "bad news." My critical environmental and tech stories are like 'shock absorbers' allowing us to ride-out the Biden-bumps more easily. You may have noticed most publications have a "Rest of the Story" segment attached, these are well researched and backed-up by a lifetime of practical engineering experience. The pieces break-out important facts that when combined offer the reader an in-depth look at the bits that the author ignored, edited-out or didn't understand, it's my privilege to research and fill-in these important gaps. Like the piece claiming SheerWind's under-sized wind turbine has a 600% advantage over standard wind turbines (HAWTs). That was a scam or horrible engineering, not sure but felt it was a good example to discuss especially as bird-killing wind power is growing exponentially. I'm certainly no "prophet" like Miss Thunberg but the F-35 is another hot-button failure that I've been predicting would be obsoleted. The USAF's 2022 "wish list" is in and zero F-35s are requested but the MSM won't talk about the 20-year-old 1,700,000,000,000 USD project still being incomplete - but I love kicking the tax-gouging Military Industrial Complex and their well-greased Congressional supporters in the teeth. It's in the Channel's "job description." Thank you for viewing and your support. Bob #Originalbadbob #news #opinion #politics #greenenergy

USAF BACKS AWAY FROM FAULTY F-35A Wants The Deadliest Fighter/Interceptor There's so much difference between the 4-missile F-35A and the 23-missile, 600 knot faster F-15 Eagle ll that we won't go there, the USAF isn't either. I've been predicting the 20-year-old F-35 would soon be obsolete and this is the first evidence vindicating that assertion. It seems like the only people in government that support the F-35 project are Congressional members who get greased by Lockheed lobbyists, everybody else has grabbed the bull by the tail and faced the F-35 situation - 1.6 trillion dollars later. Quote: The U.S. Air Force’s 4.2 billion dollar wish list for fiscal 2022 includes about 1.4 billion to buy 12 more F-15EX fighters from Boeing, helping to narrow a projected gap as the service divests its aging F-15C/D fleet..... But the biggest surprise was the conspicuous absence of additional F-35 Joint Strike Fighters. https://www.defensenews.com/congress/budget/2021/06/02/air-force-asks-for-more-f-15ex-jets-in-fy22-unfunded-wish-list-not-f-35s/ #f35 #airforce #f15ex #usaf #technology

PRISTINE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA PACIFIC TO BE CONVERTED INTO OFFSHORE WIND FARM No Good Place For Turbines But Some Are Worse We've visited Morro Bay, it's one of the more beautiful areas of California's Central Coast with fine sailing, whale watching and great fishing but that's all about to be destroyed. Wind turbines (HAWT) are responsible for killing many millions of birds and bats annually worldwide with estimates pushung 681,000 in the USA alone. Turbine blade vortices also kill bats by hemorrhaging their lungs called 'barotrauma,' these bats often fly out of the wind farm perimeter and are never accounted for. Offshore wind turbines via their anchorage create harmonic disturbances in the water which affects whales and porpoises ability to navigate. Turtles and other valuable sea mammals are also effected by loss of hunting and breeding territory while invasive species flourish. Pleasure craft and sailboat skippers typically avoid offshore wind turbines out of practical common sense. Some localities have proximity restrictions, many don't but who'd want to sail around eyesores like that anyway? Fishermen have a special interest in offshore wind turbines because they disrupt the seabed sentiment by disrupting current with their anchorage destroying kelp beds and seaweeds, necessary for the food chain. These wind machines also change fish and whale migration habits affecting commercial fisheries and fisherman safety. Quote: Fishermen, however, are concerned that construction and operation of projects on this scale could disrupt the ecosystem and that they were not consulted on the impact the locations could have on their industry. "We feel we've not been invited to have a seat at the table. We feel we're on the menu," said Mike Conroy, executive director of The Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations. The area off Morro Bay is a fishery for tuna and sword fish and he's concerned that the floating turbines could change migratory patterns of whales and other species. If blue and humpback whales, for example, are forced closer to shore, it could bring closures of Dungeness crab fishing. https://abc7.com/floating-windmills-california-project-windmill-wind-energy-farm/10695718/ #offshorewindfarms #nature #science #environment #technology

ON THE TOPIC OF WEATHER MODIFICATION These Aren't Normal Jet (H2O) Vapor Trails This mountainous area along the Cantabrian Sea in Northern Spain hardly needs extra precipitation but I suppose they know what they're doing? The thing is I particularly appreciate the Earth's beautiful blue skies, this process makes it into a dingy haze. In later photographs you can see whatever they're dispersing spreading across the sky into a persistent haze, lasting all day.
