On the 5th of August of 1569, Wicza and Vukzano Marinkovich from Bol, Island of Brac, Dalmatia, were entitled as Knights by Kaiser Maximilian II. The Marinkovich's blazon can be found in [Rietstap, J. B.; 1861] and [Rietstap, J. B.; 1887; volume 2, page 157]: D'or, à une couleuvre ondoyante en pal d'azur, la queue nouée et remontant, ladite couleuvre tenant entre ses dents une masse d'armes au naturel, en bande, la tête en bas. I have emblazoned several interpretations of this coat of arms for Djordje Marinkovic following his comments. Notes about my interpretations: The serpent is based on a Dalmatian snake called «poskok», Vipera ammodytes. The color for the mace proper is cendrée. The vertical axis of symmetry of the coat of arms crosses by the center of the ball of the mace. [Rietstap, J. B.; 1887]: 2ª edición revisada y ampliada, 1884-1887 _ #Mace #Poskok #Serpent #Symmetry
