regarding the Thule Society: The Thule Society was founded by Rudolf von Sebottendorf (Erwin Torre) who gained most of his occult knowledge from a Masonic Jewish family in Thessaloniki, affiliated with the Rite of Memphis-Misraim. The father of the family initiated Sebottendorff into his lodge and passed his occult-kabbahlistic books to Sebottendorff when he died. When Rudolf founded the Thule Society in Munich, much of the interior was modeled off of the Memphis-Misraim (Jewish) lodge. Sebottendorff's books were banned by Bavarian police and the Thule Society was completely dissolved by 1934. He was arrested by the Gestapo, interned in a concentration camp, and then expelled to Turkey
